Quick Thinking offers innovative engineering consulting, design,
prototyping, product development and manufacturing services to
Australian businesses, within the fields of mechanical, electrical,
electronic and digital systems
Quick Thinking provides engineering design and manufacture
of odd jobs that are too small, risky and not profitable enough for
the larger engineering firms, who are normally hesitant to take on
the risk of developing a new product or solving a one-off problem.
We conceive, develop, design, prototype, test
and produce mechanical, mechatronic, and electronic devices where no
similar or suitable products exist, and provide innovative engineering
solutions and expert advice.
There are several needs we fill:
- Where an imported product fails or is unsuitable due to
Australian conditions, or simply poor design or manufacture, we
can design modifications to it, which can be either be
implemented by us, the client, or other engineering workshops. We
can investigate and report on machine failures, and either
advise, or develop and implement solutions.
- Where no product exists for a particular need, we can
conceive, develop, design and produce it; whether as a
working prototype with a full set of drawings and manufacturing
instructions for others to produce (for a royalty), or we can
produce it ourselves and sell the finished product to the client
and other customers.
- Where similar products exist, but have significant limitations
or problems, we can design and develop a new product that
removes these problems.
- We offer engineering consulting services, where some
suggested solutions to a problem with a machine or plant is
required.
- We also offer expert witness services, where a
professional opinion is sought during an investigation into a
work related accident.
